"Shirley's Epilepsy Awareness Program" is a Non-Profit Organization, and I am the Chairperson of the Organization.
I make sure to do my best at helping people to be aware of the Dreadful Disease "Epilepsy" and its Symptoms and
the possible effects that the Disease itself has on the Sufferers and their Families.
I have Specially Designed this Web Site in Honor and Tribute to all People who Suffer with "Epilepsy!"
I have Suffered with "Epilepsy" since I was 14 Years Old, and I have several different types of Seizures. I
have had a very difficult time when I have the Seizures, but, thank God, my Husband, Mike, is usually always by my side to
help comfort me and whisper in my ear, "Honey, everything will be alright." I definitely understand what the People
go through in their lives! I am Disabled, with Two Steel Rods in my Spine, I have Deterioration of my Spine, Almost lost my
Right Leg when it was crushed by the Car that struck me, I have Osteoarthritis, Asthma, Acid Reflux and a few other Medical
Problems, but, all this does not keep me from achieving my Goal in Life!
It is so very essential to have God in our Lives and to have Faith in Him and to Trust in Him!!!! All my Life, I have
always had strong Faith in God, and I Love Him With All My Heart and Soul!!! He has been my Rock, and has guided me on the
right path and has always watched over me and has been by my side. ALL YOU NEED TO DO, IS, KNOCK ON HIS DOOR AND HE WILL OPEN
IT UNTO YOU!!!!
